I am an assistant professor of political science and geography at the University of Toronto Mississauga. I have a PhD in political science from Purdue University. Here is the link to my faculty website, where you can find information about my publications, my research, and my teaching.
I am originally from Regina, Saskatchewan. I moved to Calgary for my undergraduate degree and then headed to Halifax. I have a master of arts in political science from Dalhousie University. I then spent a year living in Washington DC working for the American Council on Education (a lobby group for higher education). In 2004 I moved to Indiana and started my PhD program at Purdue University. My first academic position was at the University of Michigan Dearborn. In 2012 I accepted and started a position at the University of Toronto.
